  • Christianity: Faith in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit

Throughout history, there has never been a full description of God, the Father. His Son Jesus walked among men on earth and there are many descriptions of Him, and God’s Holy Spirit has been seen in action throughout the Bible. Yet God Himself has only shown Himself to a few people and they could not describe Him in earthly terms anyone would understand.

God’s Holy Spirit connects the Father and Son and all humankind that have a relationship with them. Although the world sees everyone whom believes in God and His Holy Book, the Bible, as ‘Christians’, this is far from the truth. It is God’s Holy Spirit that connects the Father and Son and all humankind that have a relationship with them.

That relationship is the key to being considered a ‘Christian’. Satan and his demons and other followers also believe in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Therefore, simply believing in something means nothing. It is a choice to do something beyond simply believing in something or someone that marks a person as a Christian.

The Bible often tells us about how man’s tongue is unruly and can lie. Satan himself has a glib tongue that he uses without conscience as long as he gets what he wants, and mankind does the same. Therefore, though God will listen to what comes out of a person’s mouth, it is to the heart that He, His Son and His Holy Spirit measures the truth and faith behind the words.
