There are many times in a person’s life when they may be unsure of a decision they’ve already made or are about to make. Regardless of whether it’s a personal decision or a decision that may affect several other people, there is one thing to always keep in mind. When in doubt, hear Jesus out.

If you are unsure of what the right decision is, you can learn a lot by learning from the word of the Lord. Within the Bible, there are many life lessons to be learned for a variety of situations. Get more information here. http://www.atheistrev.com/2013/03/problems-with-jesus-morality-and-family.html If you feel uncomfortable or believe you may not be doing the Christian thing, turn to Jesus and do as he would have done.

Although there are many times in life when people simply do what has become the new and accepted concepts of right and wrong, you must always remember that regardless of what has become socially acceptable in modern times, maintaining your Christian values is of the utmost importance.

If your friends begin to belittle you for siding with your own set of morales and values, know that you did what was right for you. Staying true to yourself and your beliefs will show the world that you’re a strong individual, and those worthy of your respect will see and understand the choices you’ve made.

Throughout history, there has never been a full description of God, the Father. His Son Jesus walked among men on earth and there are many descriptions of Him, and God’s Holy Spirit has been seen in action throughout the Bible. Yet God Himself has only shown Himself to a few people and they could not describe Him in earthly terms anyone would understand.

God’s Holy Spirit connects the Father and Son and all humankind that have a relationship with them. Although the world sees everyone whom believes in God and His Holy Book, the Bible, as ‘Christians’, this is far from the truth. It is God’s Holy Spirit that connects the Father and Son and all humankind that have a relationship with them.

That relationship is the key to being considered a ‘Christian’. Satan and his demons and other followers also believe in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Therefore, simply believing in something means nothing. It is a choice to do something beyond simply believing in something or someone that marks a person as a Christian.

The Bible often tells us about how man’s tongue is unruly and can lie. Satan himself has a glib tongue that he uses without conscience as long as he gets what he wants, and mankind does the same. Therefore, though God will listen to what comes out of a person’s mouth, it is to the heart that He, His Son and His Holy Spirit measures the truth and faith behind the words.

The Christian ten commandments are still as important today as they were back when Moses came down from the mountain with them. Following the commandments in everyday life helps to prevent carelessness, chaos and cruelty. Many of the commandments are meant for us as humans to live a moral life and others were made laws that are still punishable in the judicial system today.

For many people there is controversy in the meaning of the commandments. Some will view the moral ones such as honor thy father and mother, remember the sabbath day to keep it holy, and thou shalt not covet thy neighbor to be optional. They view them as just ways to live a nice peaceful life. Most people in the current economic state take a more realistic approach to working on the sabbath and do what they have to do to provide for their family.

In todays society if more people were to follow the commandments as they are written the world would be much more peaceful. The chaos that ensues when one bears false witness against another sometimes leads to murder. The act of stealing creates even more chaos and leads to additional commandments being broken.

Christians rely on their faith in Jesus to get them through the most difficult situations. In a world that sees violence and sadness, people can have peace in knowing that Christ protects them. It might seem that Christ is not there because of all of the bad things that are going on in the world, but this is not the case. God is trying to teach His children a lesson, and His children are not accepting that lesson. He wants everyone to lean on Him and to know that He will be there when no one else will be. Get more information here: http://thelivingmessage.com/2012/05/23/are-we-pushing-an-agenda-or-trying-to-bring-people-to-christ/ This takes an amount of faith that not many people have.
When you make an effort to understand the Lord and know that things will not always be perfect in your life, then you can give things over to God on a daily basis. By reading the Bible and understanding that although friends and family might hurt you, and there will still be wars and sickness in the world, you can have the reassurance that God is there. God will protect those who call on His name. Those who choose to ignore Him might not receive the blessings that only a higher power can give.

I’ve heard a lot about salvation. I say YES, Jesus,… hooray, I’m a Christian! This oversimplified version of the greatest experience a person can have -the experience which forms our entire identity, determines how we live, why, and our eternity -just isn’t what I’ve actually experienced.
Focusing on saying YES, Jesus! has definitely distracted me (and others I know) from the actual starting point of personal salvation; the heart. Saying yes, as far as I’ve heard, can be done many ways. We can fold our hands to pray a lot, we can use our hands in worship, in helping others, in opening the Bible, etc.Didn’t catch that? This explains it. These are ways that we can say ‘yes’ to Jesus, but are these responses to the question of salvation?
In Acts 8:30-31, Philip obeys the Holy Spirit and goes to a Eunuch reading from Isaiah. He asks the Eunuch if he understands what he is reading. With humility and willingness, the Eunuch responds with the question, ‘how can I unless someone explains it to me?’
With that question, the Eunuch reaches the starting point of salvation. He opens his heart to understanding and accepting truth. His heart is, as with all of us, where salvation begins. Our hands act in response to being saved.

Jesus is the coolest father of all! We often fail to see how awesome Jesus’ love is. Jesus is the coolest father because he has given us the most incredible gift we could ever have. That gift is purification from sin and the ability to live a righteous life!

Jesus, who is the son of God, became the man he is today to save all of us from sin. He did what no other one would do! He tasted what death was in order to free us from sin. He suffered for us and who else would ever suffer for us?

The law required that everything had to be cleanses with blood and Jesus did that for us! He knew that the perfect sacrifice for us was his blood and that he has to shed that blood for all so that sins would be forgiven and eternal redemption was available to us!

What an awesome person to do this for us! He paved the way for all of us to have salvation and all we have to do is accept that gift by knowing, saying, and believing that Jesus is the Son of God, the man that sacrificed his body and blood for us and that his father, God, brought him back up from the dead! When he did that for us, our sins were forgiven! What could make a more awesome father than that?
